Queen Singlish was a villain who appeared in the episode Nomad is an Island.

Description[]

Queen Singlish was the ruler of Nomad, an island that travelled through space.

She was a pale green skinned humanoid with long blue and yellow hair, dressed in a strapless and side split red dress and green cape with long blue gloves and blue thigh boots. Singlish also carried a magic swagger stick that could be used to zap someone out of existence or put them to sleep.

She was bratty and selfish who always wanted her own way and didn't waste any time intimidating her two subjects Whimper and Grovel that she was ruler and would be obeyed at any cost whether good or bad. She also made this point by threatening them with the power of her magic swagger stick and saying please in a manipulative way.

History[]

One day as the island is floating in the depths of space, in her castle, Singlish calls Whimper and Grovel to her, mentioning that it is the day before her 1,000 birthday and demands a great and magnificent horse as a present.

As the island heads for New Texas, she tells her two subjects to get the horse from there while she gets some slaves. Whimper and Grovel are not comfortable with this but she once again uses her intimidation to make them obey.

The island lands on New Texas and Whimper and Grovel then capture Thirty/Thirty, Marshal BraveStarr's Equestroid horse and a few of the Prairie People.

Anrgy at being captured, the prisoner try to seek a way out and Thirty/Thirty blasts a hole in the palace with Sara Jane. Queen Singlish then appears and Whimper and Grovel explain what they have done, much to Thirty/Thirty and the Prairie People's disgust, especially when they see them bow and kiss her feet.

After finding out that the Equestroid and Prairie people are trying to escape and are protesting against her capturing them, she uses her swagger stick to put Thirty/Thirty to sleep and locks him and the Prairie People up in a cage.

Afterwards she wants even more slaves, but Whimper and Grovel protest once again, telling her that they shouldn't have even captured these first residents of New Texas in the first place, but she manipulates them again.

Singlish then orders them to open fire on the town of Fort Kerium so she can capture more slaves, and the two subjects reluctantly obey, even though they know they're doing wrong.

BraveStarr and the other residents try their best to ward off Singlish's attack and BraveStarr gets onto the island himself as it begins to move.

Meanwhile Thirty/Thirty and the Prairie People is released from their cage. The Equestroid is chained up to be taken to Singlish. After finding out that Thirty/Thirty has the ability to change shape, she orders him to change into a four-legged horse so she can ride him. However Thirty/Thirty berates her, saying that it's not her place to order him around because she doesn't own him or the Prairie People, demanding that she lets them go. One of the female Prairie people agrees, saying that slavery is wrong. Whimper also agrees but Singlish refuses to listen. That same female Prairie person then blows a raspberry at her.

An alarm then goes off as BraveStarr is now on the island and watches the Prairie People play with Whimper and Grovel, pushing then straight into Singlish. The two subjects then apologize by bowing and kissing her feet once again, much to the Prairie People's amusement who laugh themselves silly.

When Singlish demands what is so funny, the female Prairie Person says that she doesn't deserve that kind of respect as she is just a bully who makes Whimper and Grovel do terrible things and once again blows a raspberry at her, much to her astonishment.

Finding their courage, Whimper and Grovel agree that the Queen is indeed a bully and blow raspberries at her too.

Suddenly an alarm goes off in the power supply room. BraveStarr then uses Strength of the Bear to throw a heavy girder which destroys the power on the whole island.

The island begins to shake and crash lands in the desert. Singlish is furious but decides to take out her revenge on the captured Prairie People. Whimper and Grovel declare they won't let her by mean to anyone again and vow to stop her. Singlish then aims her swagger stick to zap them out of existence. Thirty/Thirty then finds his strength and pulls away the pillars he is chained to, releasing himself and causing the castle to collapse. Whimper and Grovel push Singlish out of the way for protection and BraveStarr escapes using the Speed of the Puma to grab a few of the Prairie people whilst Thirty/Thirty grabs the rest and they jump off the island, landing safely in the sand.

Singlish gets up from under a fallen curtain and vows revenge but she then sees that her swagger stick got broken during the castle's collapse and is now useless.

Whimper and Grovel grin at the now powerless Queen and tell her that things are going to be different from now on, which makes her cower under the curtain. BraveStarr then uses the Strength of the Bear to push the island off New Texas and back into the depths of space.

As Nomad floats back into space, Singlish demands Whimper and Grovel to clean up the mess, even saying an manipulative please, only to receive more blown raspberries from her two subjects.
