Plot Overview[]
Former Galactic Marshal Lucas Conway’s reluctance to use his gun when faced by villains seems like cowardice in the eyes of his son Mark. When Mark is captured by the villain Two Face, Lucas and BraveStarr must storm his fortress for a rescue, and Lucas must pickup his gun one more time in an effort to save his son.
Story Notes[]
- In the script to avoid confusion Two-Face is referred to as Two Face #1 (buzzard-like) and Two Face #2 (robotic).
- Outlaw Skuzz's line 'Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!' is a reference to the 1948 film The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
- The father and son character are named after Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawfords characters from the 1958 TV series The Rifleman.
- The plot line about a youngster disrespecting his elders' peaceful ways are recycled from the He-Man and the Masters of the Unviverse episode Double Edged Sword.
- Lucas Conway used to be the Galactic Marshal on Rigel VII. This is a references to the fictional Rigel VII first seen in the original Star Trek episode The Cage. This planet was later also parodied on The Simpsons.
Spirit Powers[]
- BraveStarr uses Ears of the Wolf to hear Mark Calling For Help.
- BraveStarr employed Strength of the Bear to open the fortress gate [4]
